My Project
My 4th graders at Prairie Queen Elementary are some of the most determined, curious, and resilient kids you’ll ever meet. Many face challenges outside of school, but that doesn’t stop them from showing up every day, ready to learn and explore.
As a an Army veteran turned elementary teacher, I believe in grit, growth, and giving students tools to become the best version of themselves.
For my students, SuperScience Magazine will be just that—a powerful tool to bring science to life. These monthly magazines feature engaging articles, real-world science updates, fun experiments, and leveled reading support that helps every child feel successful.
Each issue connects directly to what we teach—weather, ecosystems, energy, inventions—and it also opens doors to worlds they’ve never imagined: marine biology, robotics, space travel, environmental science, and more. Even better? The magazines go home, so students can teach their families what they’ve learned—turning homes into science labs.
Your support will fund a class set for the year and help students build reading comprehension, vocabulary, and excitement for STEM—skills that can change the trajectory of their futures. You’re not just donating paper and print. You’re giving my students a front-row seat to wonder.
