My Students

This year I have 96 amazing students ready to dive right into science. Every child has a desire to learn and they all have their own talents and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation. The students in my class strive for excellence. They all want to experience all the wonderful things about science. At open house, several students stated "this is going to be the best class ever!" Maintaining this excitement is my goal for the year.

My Project

My students will have the opportunity to read about animals all over the world. Finding a love for science is hard for student's who do not read well and for those who have never had the pleasure of reading about all the beautiful living things around us. Many student never have anything to look forward in their life but by having a monthly class magazine they will have the next issue to keep them motivated. Did I mention the fact they can see all the amazing photos of the animals and write about it in their journals on free write Fridays!
