My Students

I teach in a low socioeconomic area but my kids are full of energy, creativity, intelligence, love, and curiosity.

The students that I teach are our future, and it's my job to make sure that their future is nothing but bright.

I teach math and science to sixty 4th graders. I'm trying to make sure that each and every child understands that the sky is the limit and that with an education, the possibilities of what they can do are endless.

My Project

The Super Science magazines (digital access) have an embedded standards based curriculum that aligns with our school's goals of increasing student achievement, promoting inquiry based learning, advancing science and mathematics instruction, increasing student proficiency, and preparing 21st century learners for today's world.

I have been using the Science Magazines to expand our kids' imaginations and open their eyes and mind to the possibility of S.T.E.M.

related careers in our classroom. I'm excited to use the digital access features while we are learning remotely. Students are required to read, write, think, problem solve, and communicate in real-world, hands-on situations and activities right from their computer!
