My Project

Our students are a bright and diverse group of second-grade students from Las Vegas, Nevada. This group was placed together to help enrich their already advanced learning abilities, particularly in reading.

Scholastic News Magazine, will give my students a chance to read real text about a variety of interesting and relevant topics to students today.

Our students love to learn about a variety of topics to help build their knowledge and understanding of their individual interests.

Scholastic News helps to personalize instruction with multiple reading levels, Text-to-Speech audio, ELL support and so much more. The materials provided will guide them to deeper and higher-order thinking in all areas of literary and informational text while piquing their interests with current events and diverse topics.
