Super Scholars Need Healthy Snacks!

My students need healthy snacks like pretzels, granola bars, and crackers to help them stay focused throughout the day.

My Students

My students are constantly exploring life around them. They love to learn through hands-on activities and projects. They are creative and determined students who unfortunately have to overcome daily obstacles that they should not have to face.

My students live in a high poverty area.

My students come from many diverse backgrounds. Many of my students are bilingual and have several responsibilities that are expected of them at home and at school. They are sweet kids with a thirst for knowledge.

My Project

My students are eager to learn but sometimes hunger can get in the way of that. At my school, 100% of the students receive a free healthy breakfast and a free healthy lunch every day. Unfortunately, this sometimes does not keep their tummies satisfied and they begin to lose their concentration during the most important part of our day.

My students need healthy snacks during our reading block to help keep them energized and focused.

Providing my students with healthy snacks like cereal bars, cereal, and crackers will help them maintain that focus and give them the opportunity to work to their full potential.
