My class does daily lessons to build their phonemic awareness. While we usually use whiteboards and dry-erase markers, having a complete class set of manipulative tiles would be excellent so my students can see how to manipulate words. This will help them become stronger spellers and readers.
These boards will significantly help my students who are reading below grade level, giving them an excellent visual of how to manipulate sounds using phonics.
I hope this addition to my classroom will enhance the learning that is going on every day!
