My Project
I love that my students are emergent readers eager to learn to read. Their eagerness makes them special because they will persist through the tough times and continue to try hard each day. White boards and dry erasers are needed to help emergent readers that are learning new words daily. It helps children learn if they say write the words as well as say them daily. Emergent readers will draw lots of pictures to make connections with words and text, it will help them understand and retain the information. The use of a printer in the classroom gives access to all the worksheets needed to make sure students are retaining and comprehending what is being taught daily.
