My Students

My class is a lively group of 25 students excited and eager to learn. We are a community that works together, laughs together, and cares about making each other better each and every day!

As the youngest learners in our school, my students deserve quality materials to help them succeed as they begin their educational journey!

I want to give students the best that I can! This includes giving the best of myself each day as well as providing quality resources they can use to practice all they are learning.

We are part of a public school with a diverse population. At our school, we are deeply committed to integrating the arts into individualized instruction, allowing all students to reach their full potential!

My Project

My students have been working hard to use their super reader powers to learn how to read basic patterned text. I have been collecting old books that have been discarded by other teachers to begin to build a library of beginning level books that Kindergarten students can read on their own. I would love to be able to provide my youngest readers with NEW and interesting books at their level!

Students need to be reading books every day!

They need high interest books that they can access at their reading level. These books will give my students the opportunity to 'book shop' from a variety of texts at their level by keeping them engaged with interesting books so they can practice the super power reading skills they have been learning. These books will be loved by my students, year after year, as I watch child after child fall in love with reading!
