This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Would you like to help my students meet their goals for this school year? With your help they will get the hands-on materials they need to help reinforce instruction from whole group and small group instruction.

My classroom is a Dual Language Kindergarten class.

My students are learning to read and write in both English and Spanish. Although most of my students come from low income households they come to school eager to learn. They are excited to be learning two languages which will be very beneficial for them in the future.

My Project

We are kindergarteners learning our letters and numbers. We are in need of the alphabet tubs that will help us learn the letter and words that start with that letter. The tubs will also help with expanding our Spanish vocabulary. We are also asking for math centers to help us learn our numbers and help us learn how to add. Centers make learning fun and easy. Plus they are ready for us to use as soon as they arrive. We are also asking for a laminator with sheets, with this we will be able to make some of our own centers and since its laminated it will last longer.

Being that we are a low income school we are limited on our resources.

We try our best to get by with what we have and adapt ideas to fit the needs of our students. With your help my students will be at the top and ready for 1st grade. Thank You.
