Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items requested, such as books for my 4th grade students will aim to raise awareness about the environment and promote the protection of their neighborhoods, city, and the Earth. These books play a crucial role in educating my students about environmental change. By exploring the consequences of inaction, they help raise awareness about the current state of our environment and inspire individuals to take necessary steps to address these challenges. The use of the books requested will introduce what is climate change, how have we contributed to climate change, how does it affect us , and what can we do about it now. My students will engage in research projects that will be engaging as they work collaboratively to understand what Climate Change means to us.

The main objective is to teach students about how human activities affect the environment and the consequent alterations.

My 4th grade students will engage in various educational activities focusing on classroom participation, natural disaster projects, animal life cycles, deforestation, and understanding human responsibility in protecting the environment and Earth.

My students are enthusiastic about applying real-world experiences and taking action. By gaining awareness of the necessary skills to safeguard the environment, they can become valuable contributors to our collective future and their own.
