My Project
Since the start of the COVID pandemic, our district has seen a large increase in the number of students requiring Early Childhood and/or Special Education programs. I work with students from 3 years old to 5th grade to support their fine motor and sensory processing skills.
Learning for my students should be fun and play-based, and it should utilize multi-sensory activities.
The sectioned dishes and manipulatives will allow me to create sensory bins for my students that support their weekly learning units while also targeting their fine motor and sensory processing skills, and the handles on the dishes will make them easy to transport between my multiple classrooms at 4 different school sites.
