My students need animals across the land figures, habitat carpet, a Geo Safari microscope and bug specimens to provide them with a hands on way to learn more about the world around them.
My students are a group of unique individuals with multiple disabilities. They are explorers, artists, mathematicians, and scientists looking to learn as much as they can about their world.
My students come to school each and every day ready to try their best.
Some struggle with physical, cognitive and behavioral difficulties. But despite their individual struggles they are exited about school and eager to learn.
My instructional assistants and I do our best each day to provide our students with a safe and loving environment that provides individualized support and educational opportunities to keep up with their same aged peers.
My Project
All of our students are budding scientists and and want to learn more about the world they live in. However, we do not have a science station where they can explore about topics that really interest them and allow for them to really engage with their world in a hands on way.
The GeoSafari talking microscope, bug specimens, animals and carpet will give our students many hands on opportunities to explore their world.
The first and most important thing is to give our students an opportunity to learn at their level about their individual interests. With your donation they will be able to explore, investigate and bring out their inner Sid the Science Kid.
