My Project

My goal for next year is to create a super science center to help students learn about scientific topics in a hands-on, interactive setting that will help develop, and sustain, an interest in science. Science has been lagging in the lower elementary grades with a bigger focus on literacy and I want to be part of building it back up. I plan to integrate into my literacy and math lessons in hopes to spark curiosity to help develop young scientists. I have asked for so many amazing resources that will go along with our science standards. I have asked for things related to life cycles so students can actually watch the processes of butterflies, frogs, ants, worms, and ladybugs. Young scientists also need magnifying glasses and microscopes to observe all things. We would be so blessed to receive these things! We will keep journals off all these things.
