Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The level 3 magazines in Spanish will reinforce the cultural information that my students are using in their textbooks. Most of my students are not native speakers of Spanish and the magazine articles will help my students make cultural connections.
The main goals of the Sunshine Reading Project is to help those students who like to explore and make cultural connections at their own pace.
My students have different learning modalities and reading in the target language needs to be implemented as the level of the target language increases, so the incorporation of the Sunshine Reading Project using the El Sol Magazine is perfect.
