My Project
My students want to be successful at learning and dealing with different situations. The students have barriers such as hunger and thirst which often stand in their way. By creating a healthy snack station within the classroom, we can help ensure students have the tools they need for successful learning! Our refrigerator will house healthy fruit and vegetable snack options for students and cold water to help them cool off from heat and to remain calm during the hot days at school.
Our school is not air-conditioned, and the fountain water is not as cold as a refrigerator.
Our plastic bins will house granola bars and crackers for student snacks. This will help the students when they become frustrated due to being hungry.
