The items you have helped purchase have impacted over 75 students ranging from ages 4-14. This morning a 2nd grader was in my office and commented, \"Ms. Paige, you really have everything a kid could need in here. Do big kids come use this stuff too? I bet it really helps so kids feel confident and not embarrassed to go to class\". I took a minute, because that's exactly the goal. To help students feel good, have their basic needs met and feel confident going into a day of learning with their peers. \r\n\r\nWe recently had a new 6th grader start at our school who needed some things on her first day. Right away the teacher assistant called me on the walkie talkie to see if she could bring the student down. She mentioned when she came in, \"you're the fist person I thought of when I saw what she needed. I said, 'oh, we need to see Ms. Paige, she's got everything you need' \". These are the small but big moments that add up and students remember. Knowing that as a community we wrap around them and make sure they are good to go.\r\n\r\nOn average, I would say there is about 15 students who come in every day, I mean every day, to use the items you've helped provide. It provides them not only with the physical care, but a moment to check in, to feel seen and to gather themselves before heading to class. Your donations have helped students regulate before going to class, shake off whatever they may have experienced that morning or the night before, feel confident and prepared for the day, and that means more than I can ever describe in words. \r\n\r\nThe way their faces are surprised but excited when they learn that these items were donated from people who have never met them, heard of them or will ever see them is priceless. It provides a talking point about empathy, looking out for one another, genuine care and altruism. So thank you, for everything you have helped provide for these students!","fullyFundedDate":1766525791153,"projectUrl":"project/social-worker-staples/9649133/","projectTitle":"Social Worker Staples","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Paige","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9210579_orig.jpg?crop=1179,1179,x0,y487&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692655162060","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9210579"},{"teacherId":9431809,"projectId":9041677,"letterContent":"Thank you for all your help. Providing snacks during testing made a meaningful difference in our school community. With their basic needs met, students were able to concentrate, stay focused, and approach testing with greater confidence.\r\n\r\nWe are proud to share that most students' reading scores improved by at least 1%. More importantly, students felt encouraged, motivated, and inspired to believe in their ability to do great things. Your kindness helped create an environment where our students could thrive academically and emotionally.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in the success of our students. The students were amazed and grateful when they first saw the new supplies. Many of them said things like, \"This is really for us?\" and you could see the relief and appreciation on their faces.\r\nAlready, the cart has become an important resource in our classroom. Students know they can access pads, deodorant, or wipes whenever they need them, which helps them feel more comfortable and confident throughout the school day. One moment that stood out was when a student quietly took what they needed and later shared, \"Now I don't have to worry in class.\" That simple access made a big difference in their ability to focus and participate.\r\nOur next step is to continue normalizing conversations around self care and personal responsibility. We are encouraging students to take what they need without stigma, and we're tying this into lessons about health, respect, and responsibility. The cart is helping create a supportive environment where students feel cared for, which impacts not just hygiene but also self esteem and readiness to learn.\r\nThank you again for making this possible.
