This project is all about how we see light and how sunlight affects our eyes and vision.
Since sunlight is a part of our scientists lives, exploring ultraviolet rays and how we see using sunglasses, our students will better understand light waves in the world around them.
We will be exploring UV light through sun printing using the cyanotype paint and UV lights and the sun. We will see how the cyanotype prints from both sunlight and UV light to see how they compare. We will use the polarized lenses to explore how much light gets through different type of lenses using our light meters. We will also use the sticky notes to keep track of our thinking on our driving question board.
