Sunny Days in 1st Grade

Help me give my students recess equipment to help foster social emotional needs with peers of similar interests and promote individual health awareness.

My Project

This is my first year in first grade! Our school boasts a spacious outdoor area designated for student play during recess. This initiative will not only benefit my class but positively impact 80 other first-grade students.

By acquiring these materials, students will have the chance to connect with their peers through shared interests, fostering the development of their social-emotional skills during play.

I am eager to enhance the experience of our 1st graders by providing opportunities for voice and choice during this time through the donation of kickballs, footballs, jump ropes, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and frisbees.
