My Project
I will be teaching my students about renewable energy using the sun as a power source and how the panels can convert energy from the sun to something we use every day in our homes.
The Solar Cars are the perfect way to introduce them to how this energy source works.
My students are curious, capable, and eager to learn about everything, and hands-on is the best way to learn. They are hard working smart kids who come from low socioeconomic homes where opportunities to build things are not available. For them, learning to read diagrams, work in small groups, and compromise with each other is a valuable skill they will take with them throughout their lives.
