Embark on a health-focused adventure with us! Support our quest for pony beads, UV beads, and elastic string to engage students in a vibrant project aligned with our Monthly Mission on health and wellness. Crafting friendship bracelets becomes a dynamic platform for understanding the sun's impact on our skin, aligning with NGSS science standards.
As students explore UV beads changing color under sunlight, they gain insights into skin health and sun safety.
This hands-on experience not only sparks creativity but also reinforces the importance of daily sun safety practices. Your support actively promotes health and wellness initiatives, making a tangible impact in our community as students teach their peers about the importance of sun safety using the visual of the UV beads on the bracelts. As students share their bracelets with peers, they will educate them about long sleeves and sun screen while promoting social emotional health by including every student.
