My Project

This year has been a great year for learning about different things and my class has had the pleasure to learn about the Statue of Liberty from me. I came back from visiting Lady Liberty with such enthusiasm that I had to get more for them to learn about.

The Statue of Liberty is more than just a symbol of freedom for so many people.

Liberty and freedom from oppression is what I speak about to my students who have come from all over the world. The struggles that they have witnessed is not theirs alone, immigrants have been finding refuge in America for decades.
