My Project
My 2nd graders are kind and inquisitive little human beings who thrive on opportunities to move and express their creativity, emotions, and energy. We are often singing, dancing, and making art as well as working on the core subjects of reading/language arts and math. There is a lot of joy in my classroom!
Our school year is quickly coming to a close, and as I think of the challenging and happy times we have spent together, I would like to present each child with a meaningful gift.
Since we have enjoyed learning grammar together (yes, we have, believe it or not!), I would love for them to have their own Mad Libs activity book to take home with them on the last week of school. In class, playing Mad Libs games has been the cause of much laughter, while also sneaking in some valuable lessons in learning parts of speech, reading fluency, and comprehension. I'm positive my students would rejoice at receiving their own copies and be excited at playing Mad Libs with their friends and family during the summer break and beyond.
