My Students

Do you remember the feeling of coming from a family that has to struggle to put food on their table? Imagine coming to your classroom and having what many children and adults have been talking about. The iPad offers unlimited resources through free apps, and an endless amount of smiles.

The children in my class have huge hearts.

We care about each other and make it a point to share our emotions and daily life experiences in the classroom. They have learned that school is not just about academics. It is about gaining knowledge but not leaving out the personal approach. What may have caused disappointment or a feeling of being deprived because of serious economic conditions, the children feel exceptional while in the classroom.

My Project

The iPad can offer my class so many possibilities through free apps and the individuality to use the best and most appropriate ones for each child. The feeling the children will have inside being able to learn through the latest technology and to share their experiences with family and friend will be priceless.

Children will never forget the chance to use something that we know they would not be able to without the very gracious donation.

Children will have memories of a year that they used the newest technology and were able to gain much more than a laptop could offer.
