Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All students deserve the opportunity to not only experience fun, engaging, and interesting school years but also the ability to have a summer that is just as incredible and what better way to ensure this than with LEGO Education kits!

Summer programming for students from all walks of life which engages their minds through academics, arts, creativity, play, experimentation, STEM and more are pivotal to helping them learn and grow.

Summers are meant to be a time of fun for kids and many families often look for great summer programs that support and promote that idea. It is our hope that we can create a summer program for our young campers that continues to boost their academic strengths and areas of need while also allowing campers to experience what the community and world around them can provide. We want to give students to ability to explore engineering, science, math, and critical thinking through the use of LEGO Education kits. The My XL World LEGO kit is a great tool and resource that is age appropriate and fun for students participating in our program. Our campers are the future and providing them with any and all opportunities to explore their interests while having fun and learning is our goal in creating a fun summer camp experience. It is our hope that we can bring campers on tours of our local area and allow them to tap into their engineering minds by observing building structures and what items they feel are missing in their community or how they would change structures that currently exist. This kit allows students to tap into their inner engineer and will help in giving students the ability to consider how they would adapt and improve their community around them through the use of LEGOS.
