Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will create and decorate their various projects such as historical timelines and maps. In my classroom, my co-teachers and I encourage our students to be creative while learning about history particularly developing their social studies skills in preparation for the New York State social studies. As I a teacher, I use these projects to have decorate my classroom wallls and bulletin boards. For summer school, these projects helps diverse student learnings such as kinesthetic learning who learn best through hands-on assignments. These resources will help them be creative and be true to their creative self.
