My Project
The books I am requesting are engaging and exciting to read. I want to encourage my students with summer reading to continue all of the growth and progress they have made this year.
The ultimate goal for this project is to ignite the excitement and joy of reading in all my students. By providing them with new novels, they will hopefully spend their summer reading even just a few minutes a day to help prevent a significant summer slide.
My students have worked so hard this year to improve their reading fluency and accuracy. They have spent time practicing phonics skills and fluency drills and I want to both reward their efforts as well as encourage further progress.
