Summer is on the way! As a teacher, this might be the dream season for everyone. However, I want to recharge myself with some new technology and skills integrated with AI in my classroom. It will be very exciting that I can apply my new technology and skills in AI in and beyond my classroom in the new school year.
These technologies and books will help me grow up with the technology assistance as a world language teacher.
Among the books, I will learn research-based strategies for world language classroom teaching with technology. The VR set will allow me to plan the virtual field trip and guide my students to see the big world. The Kindle will help me organize my teaching material and enhance my concentration in reading.
The books are designed to guide K-12 teachers through planning a yearlong curriculum with AI, incorporating mini-lessons with AI, and assessment within various writing units and genres. The books will provide lesson plan examples for multiple speaking and writing teaching materials incorporated with AI and a framework for developing my units with the assistance of technologies.
I will also share the gains with other educators, run workshops in teacher seminars, and implement new ideas within and beyond my classroom instruction. I believe it will be a gain not only for me. It will benefit the teacher community in my school.
