This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year our class has embraced literacy. Students have read a variety of books from different genres. They have also loved writing and journaling. I want their love for reading and writing to continue through the summer.

Having two brand new books, a notebook and a pen will allow independent learning during the break.

With two brand new books, students can continue exploring different genres of literacy which will improve their reading skills and also spark imagination and creativity. A notebook and a pen will allow students to continue fostering their love for writing and jotting down their thoughts.
