My Project

I am gearing up for my 4th summer of summer school tutoring. My district has adopted this AMAZING model of tutoring where we get to make our own schedule and work with students 1:1 of in a small group during the summer to specifically hone in on the skills that they need in order to maintain skills and bridge gaps between June and August. Coming to school in the summer, can be a drag for some students when their peers aren't there, so I aim to keep them busy and engaged. They absolutely love the sticker store that is set up and use their points they earn for completing tasks etch to buy stickers! Having the use of fidgets for them has also been beneficial and mine have seen better days after many years of teaching during the school year and summer. The planner will help me in planning for their learning this summer and the dots are great as they stick to my table and I wont need to bring white boards with me (we move my teaching table to the cafeteria for the summer so the less I can bring with me the better!) As the school year winds down, I am actively planning for summer!
