This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students were online during Covid from the end of 1st grade to almost the end of 2nd grade and they struggle with basic math facts and reading. I have seen some growth over this year. My class enjoys reading but do not have many books at home. They practice math online but will have to return their computers to the school in May. It will be beneficial to have materials at home during the summer to continue the learning that they did this school year and keep them motivated.
