This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students always look forward to the summers as a time of fun. However, summers also present challenges to families with hard-working parents too. Fortunately, we have the ability to have our own fun summer program that supports students academically as well as through enrichment activities as well.
Our students deserve the chance to have any and all resources available to them for an incredible summer.
As we kick off preparation for our programs which starts in the next few weeks, we are in need of essential items to begin building our program materials. We need board games and academic games, sports equipment, art materials, a speaker for music and dance, and so much more to truly start the summer off strong. We can't wait to make special summer memories with our students not only through academics but also through enriching experiences such as music, dance, art, and physical play.
