This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Summer is a time for fun, exploration, and learning! I want to provide my kindergarten students with engaging and hands-on materials to keep their learning alive even when school is out. With your support, I can send each student home with a Summer Fun Kit filled with exciting items to encourage outdoor creativity, movement, and play-based learning.

Each kit will include sidewalk chalk for practicing letters and numbers, sand buckets for sensory play and building, water bottles to stay hydrated during summer adventures, popsicles for a cool and refreshing treat, sunglasses to stay safe in the sun, and books will encourage a love of reading all summer long.

Bubbles and a beach ball will promote movement and social play, while Play-Doh will build fine motor skills and creativity. These simple yet meaningful items will keep students engaged, active, and excited to learn all summer long!
