This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Gocio Elementary School is a Title I elementary school in Sarasota, Florida. Thanks to our Title I Status, we are able to offer a free summer school programi! This program lasts for 5 weeks and will serve our students in grades preschool through third grade.

The bird house kits, construction paper, and art materials requested in this project will provide the art supplies for our summer STEAM program.

Every day after the academic portion of the summer program is over, students have the opportunity to remain on campus for our STEAM program!
