This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My TK students live in the low-income, mid-city district of Los Angeles. My students come to school every day and we have the highest attendance for a Title I/low-income school with a population of about 700 plus students. My Transitional Kindergarteners are a rambunctious, beautiful bunch of kids with so much life, love and learning to be had. They deserve everything the world has to offer and more! I am so proud of them, every step of the way! They are happy learners with smiles and excitement all day!

My Project

These materials will help me give my students the most amazing send off of this school year! The beach toy set will encourage my students to try new things and not be afraid to feel all of their feelings. This project will make a full turn to the beginning of the school year where we learned about the beach.

The beach kit will encourage my students to keep looking forward to things in their lives.

The snacks will make them happy and remind them that they have achieved all of their goals, worked hard and deserve to treat themselves. We will celebrate the year and all of our achievements through this project!
