Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Summer is right around the corner and our kiddos need supplies to make their summer enjoyable and safe. The summer essentials include a sand bucket, water bottle, which will be personalized with their names, a cooling towel and sunglasses to keep their eyes safe.
My goal is to make summer fun, safe and enjoyable.
My students are in a third grade dual language program which means that they learn in two languages. My kids are special in many ways but learning in two languages makes you even more special. They are learning from reading to Social Studies and Science in both. The goal of the program is to become truly bilingual, bi-literate and culturally aware of more than just one culture.
