Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school year comes to a close, I want to send my 3rd grade students off with a thoughtful and encouraging summer farewell package. These packages will include engaging books, writing journals, crayons, and a few fun extras to keep their minds active and hearts full during the break.

My students have worked incredibly hard this year, growing as readers, writers, and kind classmates.

With your help, I’d love to celebrate their efforts and support continued learning at home over the summer.

Many of my students do not have consistent access to books or learning materials during the summer. These kits will provide tools to help them maintain their reading and writing skills, and show them that they are cared for and celebrated.
