Help me give my students the ability to express their creativity during their summer away from school. My multilingual learners benefit from attending an arts-integrated school but often lack supplies of their own at home.

My Project

My multilingual learners have a great deal of background knowledge and love expressing themselves in 2 languages. However, they often don't have their own materials at home to express their creativity.

By sending home summer creativity packs, multilingual learners will be able to practice vocabulary, literacy, and art skills simultaneously while at home.

These packs will provide access to supplies that isn't already there and allow students creative, educational options while home during the summer months.

Having the ability to draw, write, and create during the summer will create opportunities to continue to practice literacy skills during the summer and hopefully prevent language loss. At the very least, it will help students with less access to materials to keep their minds busy during the summer doing healthy activities. Any and all support is greatly appreciated!
