Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with students in grades K-5, all with the diagnosis of ASD. They have the opportunity to come to summer camp which is less academic-based and more social-emotional and play based. With your help, materials could give them a memorable summer camp experience filled with turn taking games, outdoor play, sensory tools, and arts and crafts. Our staff often buys materials out of their own pockets for summer, so I would like to surprise them with materials their classes could use that target pragmatics while having fun as a group. Let the fun begin!
