My Students

My students are a group of diverse and unique kids. They love hands-on learning and anything that involves a special chant! As a first-year teacher, this has been an incredible journey that I have enjoyed every step along the way. I have made it a priority to build a relationship with each and every student. I strive to create fun, interactive lessons that students can connect with and hold their engagement. I make sure that my students know in our classroom, we are family. We strive to maintain positive, kind relationships.

My Project

This is a professional development camp that will provide me with the opportunity to connect with other teachers and put new tools in my “teacher tool belt”! It is a 3 night-4 day camp experience that will be chalked full of fun and opportunities to learn and grow as an educator. I will be able to have the camp experience but also be able to grow in my self-confidence as a teacher.

As a first-year teacher, I will be able to also mingle with many teachers across the country and gain knowledge and experience.

Teacher connections are so beneficial for growth and creativity.
