Successful with Sounds and Snacks

Help me give my students a variety of resources, like sound puzzles and picture cards, that will help them strengthen their knowledge for beginning and middle sounds. Alphabet tubs, whiteboards, and flash card bins to practice writing sounds.

My Project

The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in writing and math. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. However, we run into the problem of broken or missing erasers, and the whiteboards slowly become stained from constant use. My student learn best with hands-on activities, so the sounds puzzle, alphabet tubs and flash cards/task card bin will be a fun way for them to practice their beginning and middle. The binders and sheet protectors will be beneficial for practice work and for students to organize their learning materials. The colored ink will allow me to print colored pictures of real life objects for my students. It will also allow me to print communication pictures for my students who are building their communication skills.

My students want to succeed.

They put their best foot foward everyday. The snacks are easy and quick incentives to keep their motivation growing.
