Successful Tools for Scholars!

Help me give my students a hands on approach to learning, using the sight word games, and math pen addition and subtraction. These tools will be wonderful additions to our classroom and help my students become successful scholars!

My Students

Our school strives to set our scholars up for success. I teach 15 second grade students who come from all different backgrounds and each have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Coming back to school after a pandemic has been hard, but although their have been challenges we face with closing the gaps my students never give up! These few items will help close those gaps and set my students up for success!

My Project

These activities will help my students learn how to read and become fluent readers. It is so important to help our children now more than ever to close those gaps so they can be successful life long learners. The addition and subtraction math fact cards will help with fact fluency and learners how to quickly problem solve to find the right answer. I will use these tools during student and teacher lead instruction time and small group settings.

My goal is to show these students that despite the obstacles and challenges we face coming back to school during a global pandemic, that we CAN do it!
