Help me give my students quality fundamental soccer gear including balls, a bag, practice goals, and a few other necessities the soccer team need to help them find success.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My multicultural students have been going through the challenges of the pandemic, much like all the rest of students around the district, state and country. They would benefit greatly from having new equipment. Like some other schools, our budget isn't one of luxury and we can use additional help to upgrade our level of quality equipment.
My Project
In my school, HJH in Tulsa, OK, many of the boys absolutely love the game of soccer, and can't wait for soccer season to begin.
We have a cross-cultural blend of students with a strong Hispanic population.
When this next new season arrives, and pertaining to equipment, I would love for it to be greeted with a sense of out with the old, and not enough, and in with the new. I'm talking about being blessed with enough quality soccer balls, a good soccer ball bag, scrimmage vests, some real soccer goals to practice on, a portable air pump, and agility ladders. These few important pieces of equipment will without a doubt help inspire the students, build their self esteem, prepare them to be become better and more competitive. It would be a really good thing.
