Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the years of being a teacher, I have accumulated lots of small group rotation materials. Unfortunately, my cabinets are extremely unorganized and not student-friendly due to storage issues. The storage bins and lids in this project will allow me to organize my rotations by concepts so whenever we start something new, my students will be easily able to walk over, grab the bin they need for that concept, and begin a small group on their own without my assistance. This system will make a student-driven classroom rather than a teacher-driven classroom like it currently is. Also, I have asked for folders. These folders will be used to house the directions and worksheets needed for each rotation. The bins will be used for the manipulatives and/or supplies needed for each one.
