Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating will give my 1st grade students the opportunity to choose how and where they learn best. Options like bookshelf bench, wobble stools, and spacious and clean carpets allow for movement and comfort, which helps improve focus and engagement.
This approach supports different learning styles and encourages students to take responsibility for their learning.
It also benefits students with sensory or attention needs by providing a more inclusive environment.
By fostering choice and flexibility with the carpet, stools and bench cushion, my classroom becomes a space where all students feel comfortable, respected, safe, and ready to learn.
