This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We are an engaged 3rd grade classroom with 20 students. New to the building, incoming students and I are starting fresh. We are the melting pot of Buffalo with students and teachers from many different countries, cultures, and backgrounds.

We turn our life experiences into learning!

We are saying goodbye to one chapter and hello to the next! Change is good but can be hard at times. My students and I are arriving from an early elementary site, pre-k thru 2nd, we will be on this new journey together! Education is a priority but trust and a sense of community will help our curriculum succeed. Please consider donating to our fresh new start!

My Project

The first day of school sets the tone for the remainder of the school year. Few students come to school with a brand new book bag and fresh new school supplies, when they enter our third grade classroom I would love for them to have brand new supplies that will last throughout the year. A smile goes a long way. I greet them at the door to start a brand new successful school year. I want them to know they will succeed.

Students will not have to worry about having supplies to do their homework at home because I will ALWAYS provide it.

They will not have to ask because each student automatically has what they need to succeed.
