Help me give my students the opportunity to have a comfortable and relaxing place so that they can practice building up their stamina when reading on the carpet or ottoman cushion seats.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our goal for this school year is to build our STAMINA by reading for 30 minutes without getting tired or giving up. In order to do that we need a place and materials so that when students are reading they can sit down and relax, make themselves comfortable, increase their knowledge, and can ignore distractions. I strongly believe that by having the materials we need, students will be able to become successful readers since they will have different spots in the classroom as they enjoy their reading time during Daily 5.
