Successful Learning Means the World to Us

Help me give my students the essentials to learn in class and learn at home to be successful. My students would benefit from having their own set of quality headphones so that they can use them while learning.

My Students

My students walk in my classroom everyday ready to learn and eager to work hard. This school is a great school where students and parents feel welcome. My students come from a mix of backgrounds, from high income to low income where parents work more than one job. They are such a sweet class and do their best to work hard and love learning new things. My students are eager to learn and if they had the use of their own headphones and much more, their learning experience would be that much better.

I am a fifth year 2nd grade teacher and I am still gathering supplies to improve my classroom.

In the elementary school setting, learning can look different but engaging. I have many students who have been impacted by COVID-19 and have shown they can endure hard things and keep moving on.

My Project

Students may need to go to remote learning at anytime during the pandemic caused by COVID-19. With the help of quality headphones, students will be able to learn successfully at home. If we are in school students will use the flexible seating to space themselves apart in the room while working in a comfortable and safe environment. Using the headphones in class will help my students be able to learn and engage in their learning.

By having their own set of headphones, I know students will be getting the things they need to make them successful at home and school.

I know that not all students in my class can afford to purchase headphones and this will help every student have the same opportunity to connect and engage in our learning.

COVID-19 has impacted everyone in the world, especially in the elementary schools. Having to move to remote learning can be tricky but my students can do hard things. Using a stylus on the ipad will help us to continue to work on our writing and Language Arts skills at home and in school.
