Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a great group of 2nd Graders made up of Non-Leps, Bilingual, and Spanish speakers whom are truly eager to learn.

Our school is located in a very low income area where our families struggle to make a living.

All of our children qualify for free breakfast, lunch and dinner due to their socioeconomic status.

I am highly inspired by my little bunch of happy, exciting children and am always out trying to get them everything they need to make their learning as easy and engaging as possible. I love my children!

My Project

My 2nd Grade students use iPads on a daily basis. They engage in highly educational programs such as A-Z Learning, Prodigy and Accelerated Reading. These programs help my children learn in a fun and engaging way.

My students need headphones in order to focus on each one of their educational programs to maximize their learning.

It is very difficult to share headphones due to the high level of germs being transfered from one another. It would be amazing for each one of them to have their own set of headphones.

The printer will definitely be useful to print their reports and measure their success.
