This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I might not be the first teacher to say, "My students are the best scholars." But with a passionate heart I can say, they are. It is my goal to build in them a strong academic foundation in the midst of the crisis we are living as well as helping them shape themselves into young men and women in my daily interaction with them. I care for them in a very special way for they are gift given to me to help educate for 10 months of their young lives. My scholars become passionate about their learning having the end in mind. Our goal is going to college. Even though we are living in a very strong emotional and psychological storm due to COVID-19 my students are eager to learn this new school year.

My Project

On behalf of my new Trojan Scholars 2021-2022 classroom, I would like to appeal to your kind assistance in providing funding for the materials chosen for my project, Successful Beginning. Each item will be used in our classroom for daily instruction.

From the individual whiteboards which each scholar will use for daily teacher whole lesson interactions, to peer teaching or independent practice, to the poster board pads which will be used for whole group anchor charts throughout the school year to the prong folder, all will serve to be a vital component to having a successful beginning and ensuring a successful ending.
