I will be going into my 7th year of teaching and I want to start the school year prepared and ready for all of my students. Many of my incoming third graders need lots of movement and crave sensory input.
I will also have many students that will not be able to get school supplies and I want to be able to ease some of that stress on families.
I will be using pencil pouches, that I have gotten from a previous project, for students to keep their pencil and classroom money in. Students will be able to use their classroom money to buy from the "class store" on Fridays. When they have a variety of items to choose from they are more invested. All of these items will help my students be successful for the entire school year.
